Ofa Tonga grew up on a small island in the South Pacific called Tonga. It is the first place to greet a new day located on the International Dateline. Coming from a humble, hardworking and dedicated family they migrated to Brisbane Australia to seek more opportunities. At the age of 15, Ofa had her first experience job working in an elderly care facility. This experience has paved her path for a life long career she would be passionate about.
Ofa has traveled throughout the country seeking opportunities to care for the elderly including California, Texas, Louisiana, South Carolina and North Carolina. She has worked for several elderly home care services, hospitals, nursing and retirement homes for more than 30 years. She has worked for patients in Southminster Retirement Community for the past 14 years. Ofa has served several elderly patients throughout Mecklenberg County providing home care services including 24/7 care. Gaining much experience and developing lasting relationships with patients and their families has helped Ofa to pursue and open her own elderly home care agency.
It has been a vision in progress for Ofa to open her own agency and provide quality services to elderly patients. She has been qualified for several years and has officially been authorized. Ofa’s Private Homecare Services is an agency she has established. It is certified and licensed in the state of North Carolina. Her hard work, devotion, and dedication to achieving this, is what she is fully committed too.
Ofa’s husband, Saimone Tonga, is currently serving in the United States Army for 33 years. With his many deployments, which he is currently in Afghanistan, Ofa has had the opportunity to stay involved with pursuing her dedicated services to elderly care. Her family, including four daughters and one son, have assisted Ofa in providing the quality care needed with her elderly patients. Much sacrifice, perserverance, and dedication has had a profound influence upon the Tonga family.
Ofa has had a path paved for her and is paving the path for her family and others to develop. Her love and years of experience with elderly care will continue to flourish.
